1. Our commitment
Work on the Telecom Hire platform is offered on the basis of skill, certification, availability and conduct — nothing else. We do not discriminate, and we do not permit discrimination by anyone using the platform, on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, descent, place of birth, residence, language, marital status, pregnancy, age, disability, or any other ground protected by Indian law.
2. How this works in practice
- Onboarding. Approval depends on verified identity, valid certification for the skills claimed, and any operator-mandated clearance. No other characteristic is considered.
- Job matching. Jobs are offered on skill set, certification, availability, proximity and track record. The matching system does not use any protected characteristic as an input.
- Pay. Rates are set per job and per skill, published before you accept, and identical for everyone doing that job at that skill level.
- Ratings and progression. Based on completed work, quality outcomes and safety record.
3. Persons with disabilities
This section is our equal opportunity policy for the purposes of section 21 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
- We welcome registrations from persons with disabilities and assess every applicant on ability to perform the specific work safely, never on the disability itself.
- Where a role can be performed with a reasonable adjustment, we will make it. Tell us what you need at Telecomhireofficial@gmail.com.
- Some field work — particularly work at height and on live electrical equipment — carries safety requirements set by the site operator that we cannot waive. Where that rules out one type of job, we will look for other work on the platform you are eligible for rather than close your account.
- The app is available in English, Hindi and Bengali, and its screens are designed to work with the text size and screen-reader settings on your device.
- Records relating to persons with disabilities registered on the platform are maintained as the Act requires, and are treated as confidential.
The Liaison Officer for the purposes of section 23 of the Act can be reached at Telecomhireofficial@gmail.com.
4. Harassment
Harassment of any kind — on a site, in the app's messages, or anywhere else in connection with platform work — is a breach of our Terms of Use and will be acted on. This includes sexual harassment, which is dealt with under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013; complaints go to the Internal Committee via the address below and are handled confidentially.
5. Raising a concern
If you believe you have been treated unfairly, or you have witnessed it, write to Telecomhireofficial@gmail.com or report it in the app. We acknowledge within 24 hours, investigate, and respond within 15 days. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
